Anise Berilan is one of the highest-ranked inquisitors in the Castleton branch of the Leaden Mace Society, and something of an alcoholic. She enjoys the finer things in life; good food, good booze, good company, and smashing in the faces of heretics with a well-timed punch. She was recently accepted into the ranks of the order of drunken masters, and is quick to break out the drinks to celebrate any success for any member of the Mace — perhaps a little too quick.
Thomas Lazarus has something of a friendly rivalry with Anise, and she is a friend and drinking buddy of Miron Steelsprocket. Her birthday is Boccon 4th.
