Burmice is a drow necromancer from the now mostly extinct House Lazrien, and as of now, under protection of House Claddani, thanks to a long-term acquaintance with Zairith dating back when both lived in Ezzebek.
Similarly to Zairith, (and via contacts through one of his apprentices, Mal'ril of Claddani) she currently spends most of her time in Castleton, manning a butcher shop under the cover identity of Berenice Ackermann, a retired half-elf adventurer, and nominally gathering knowledge about surface magic.
Affiliated with the Sun Raiders to an extent, after Rhylinar of Kenaghim found out about her not being quite the loyal follower of Lolth her public facade would suggest. Her familiar is Iymmur'ss, an undead cat with a love for slaughter and shoulder rides.
Published a large amount of necromantic research in various Kaduan journals under the name of Baroness Lira Cumber-Izenof.
