Ezekiel Chirehan is a scholar, studying cultures that lie outside of the typical human-elven-dwarven-halfling-gnome-orc groups. He is most well-known for his work with the Clawing Wind catfolk tribe on the Akellon-Mazio border, work which has unfortunately been sabotaged as of late by a group of Mazians looking to build a new copper mine on Clawing Wind ancestral grounds. Forced away from his preferred work, Ezekiel found himself back in his home city of Castleton, where he was approached by Gnogglebolt Sparkgear with an opportunity to learn more about goblin culture. Now, he is assisting the newly-formed Swiftaxe tribe with adjusting to their new home, while at the same time gaining knowledge that he hopes to use when he returns to the Clawing Winds. Now if only he could find a way to get back in contact with them…
Ezekiel is not much of a combatant, but he has displayed some arcane prowess. He is a member of the Society of Saltmarsh, mainly for the academic benefits of belonging to such a mage's guild. He is less interested in magic for the sake of magic than he is the pursuit of knowledge of many types; time will tell, but he may eventually become a loremaster. That is, if the people who dislike or misunderstand his work don't kill him before he gets to that point.
