Ian is the middle sibling of the Toris family, a child with quite the vocabulary and a surprisingly mature way of speaking. He is a student of an arcane academy in Castleton, and claims to be quite well-traveled, having been to Mazio. He certainly has a traveler's grasp of multiple languages, including Draconic and Elven. His grasp of the former is quickly explained, however, when you know that "Ian Toris" is the human form of the wyrmling gold dragon Itoranion. His vocabulary is extraordinary even for a young dragon's, however.
His lexicon is rather sesquipedalian.
