Houserules

The following are lists of house-rules that apply to OZ.

  1. A least dragonmark of any type is considered a bonus feat.
  2. A lesser dragonmark feat may be used to replace one feat requirement for a prestige class.
  3. A PC of any race may have any dragonmark.
  4. Action points accrue via nominations in addition to by-level action points.
  5. Certain values of action points can be traded for rewards. They are as follows.
    1. 5 - Auto stabilize
    2. 10 - turn a natural 1 on a d20 into a natural 2
    3. 20 - re-roll a roll after seeing result.
    4. 25 - Maximum value of health on next level up
    5. 50 - Skill becomes class skill
    6. 75 - Increase skill points per level for selected class by 1, retroactive.
    7. 100 - Bonus feat (any).
    8. 100 - permanent +1 to a stat point, counts as increase of base
  6. Any 3.5 splatbook may be used, provided it the source is cited in the character's sheet.

  8. Crafting magic items no longer costs Exp. The artificer feats that reduce gold cost, and exp cost are those locked out.
  9. An Artificer's craft reserve class feature has is multiplied by 20, and is now now GP instead of Exp.
  10. Crafting by day is measured in Silver, crafting by week is in Gold.
  11. More a clarification than a houserule; Destructive Frenzy's +8 to str to break items while raging/frenzying applies to sunder checks.
    1. Spending an action point allows these sunder checks to apply to sundering a limb as well.
  12. Natural 20 on a dice roll is not an automatic success. Natural 1 on a dice roll is not an automatic failure.
  13. Aberrant dragonmarks of any grade may use the provided lists, or take on spells from outside sources, provided the spell is not on the list of a true dragonmark. Spell levels for the grade are: Least 1-3rd, Lesser 4-6th, Greater, 7-9th; and that the spell is direct damaging, destructive in nature, or competitively designed.
