Session 18

Liatai has connected.

Tezkat has connected.

Ghostwish has connected.

TMG has connected.

Faerie has connected.

  • Ghostwish clubs Meany with a baloney sandwich.

Tezkat:http://www.vgcats.com/super/?strip_id=0

Meany:Tezkat lives. :o

TMG:okay…is that everyone?

GM:Roll call! Who wants rolls?

Meany:Except VAEnstien.

Meany:Yo.

TMG:Present.

Ghostwish:MEEEE

  • GM puts the basket of rolls on the table.
  • Ghostwish dives for it!!

Meany:Last time on canon Akellon. :o Sszeyl taught Terri the difference between a slap, a bitchslap, and a slep.

TMG:>.o

GM:Just waiting on Faerie. :3

  • Zanfib Black quietly snatches a few rolls and then slips away. "By the way, Faerie is here."

GM:Faerie is here, but not here. He's Schrodinger's Fae. :P

  • Tezkat noms rolls.

TMG:Soo…been awhile. Need quite a recap. :U

TMG:what day of stakeout is it again?

GM:Quite. While we're waiting, what do you guys remember?

Meany:It was raining.

TMG:The leaky ceilings….that's about it. Plot details elude me at the moment

Meany:And Sszeyl educated people on the different types of slaps.

Meany:There was flooding.

Meany:Horrible flooding.

Meany:Of the caves.

TMG:man, danmna's been gone so long, we've been missing the scripts to put the logs on the wiki.. :TMG:>:Faerie:Sorry I took so long >

Faerie:*:x

  • Meany gives Alex a roll with honey butter.
  • Faerie noms?

Meany::>Faerie:Also, I see my old token all by its lonesome, but not my new one.

GM:Last time on Akellon Z! The stakeout continued as the party waited for necromancers to show up. After a lengthy conversation with — Oh! I'll fix that! :O

Sszeyl:Behold.

Sszeyl:My new token.

Sszeyl::>Liatai:Fixed!

Faerie:Ah, there we go. Now, where is everyone? >.>

Sszeyl: (( I has a kitteh snuggling on my DnD game blanket. :o ))

  • Sszeyl is up on the first floor.

Sszeyl:Entrance.

TMG:most of us are waiting in the staging area…

GM:After a lengthy conversation with the goblins, Gnogglebolt disclosed the fact that he may have discovered the identity of the one who skeletonized Granch Redmaw — a human who goes by the names Morgan and Zach. The day continued quietly, until nightfall, when a late-summer storm struck.

GM:The rain has cleared up as dawn arrived… and we join our party on the dawn of Day 4…

Faerie:brb, topping up wash fluid.

  • Sszeyl awkens from Trance.

Ghostwish:http://celebs.icanhascheezburger.com/2011/01/08/funny-celebrity-video-every-st-voy-episode-in-a-nutshell/

Sszeyl: (( Weather for the day, GM? ))

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt stirrs, waking up amisdst other sleeping figures, and one watchful statue.

Liatai:Slightly cloudy with a chance of rain. :3

Gnogglebolt:He stretches, yawning, and starts putting on the pieces of his leather armor over his cloths.

  • Sszeyl flexes legs, then steps out onto the ground outside to gauge the muddiness.

Liatai:It's very muddy, and there are standing puddles in some places.

Sszeyl:"Facinating. Water mixes with the dirt to form a weak puddy. I never get tired of seeing it."

Gnogglebolt:He daintily steps around Elros to go check on how his water-diversion rig held up.

  • Sszeyl steps out to check on the apple tree, and also Fuzzy.

Barshal:Barshal.. is quite the statue.

Liatai:The rain has knocked down plenty of apples and leaves.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt does pass Barshal a small glance, wise to his act.

Sszeyl:"I'll be back for you in a minute."

  • Sszeyl peeks in on Fuzzy.

Fuzzy:*growwwwwwl*

Sszeyl:"Same to you."

  • Sszeyl starts picking up apples.

Faerie:Alright, back.

Liatai:Gnogglebolt's improvised water drainage system has held up well!

  • Sszeyl dumps « 1d6+2 = 6 + 2 = 8 » apples on the table.

Brian Toris:Surprisingly, it's early morning and Brian's awake! Shock! :O

Terri:*zzzzzz*

Gnogglebolt:Satisfied, Gnogglebolt leaves and checks around the hideout.

Brian Toris:"Morning."

  • Maximillian Toris is still drowsing, leaning on the wall. Zzz.
  • Justinian Rubus looks miserable.

Sszeyl:"Happy sixth hour."

Gnogglebolt:He also steps around to look at the door of the flooded storeroom, to see if it's leaking

Sszeyl:*OM NOM NOM APPLES NOM*

Liatai:There's still standing water on the floor, but the flooding has stopped.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt's glad his improvised seal around the door held up, but as there's probably a minature sea of water behind that door…it must be taken care of carefully.

Gnogglebolt:He leaves it for now, checking elsewhere

Brian Toris:*nom*

  • Papa looks up as Gnogglebolt enters the room, wagging his tail.

Sszeyl:"Fuzzy is in a mood today."

Gnogglebolt:"Well, everything seems to be in order." Gnogglebolt says as he passes by everyone in the common room.

Sszeyl:"I'd advise going out in pairs if at all."

Gnogglebolt:"However, I think the storeroom is flooded. We're going to have a bit of a chore draining it.

Gnogglebolt:"Still thinking of ideas on how."

Brian Toris:"You would think there would be a drain in a room with a fountain… Who designed this place, anyway?"

Sszeyl:"Goblins."

Gnogglebolt:"Well, we don't -know- that. They could have appropriated it from someone else."

Derish Snowfur:Derish comes in (noisily).

Gnogglebolt:"I'll ask them."

Brian Toris:"This kind or architecture?" Brian gestures around the common room. "The back rooms, I can believe were built by goblins, but this is worked stone."

Sszeyl:"Derish, Barshal."

Sszeyl:"The local bear is in a sour mood."

Sszeyl:"Don't go out alone."

  • Terri wakes up and waves blearily to the others.

Gnogglebolt:"It's dangerous to go alone! Take this!" *holds out hunting rifle*

Gnogglebolt:….no, just kidding. x3

Sszeyl:"And you, little miss." He points at Terri. "You're not going out without Papa, and someone who can feasibly tackle that bear."

Terri:"… Hmmm?"

  • Terri yawns.

Sszeyl:"Fuzzy. He's in a mood."

Terri:".. Oh…"

Sszeyl:"So there will be no bear taunting today, am I clear, Papa?"

  • Papa gives Sszeyl a look of pure innocence. Can't you see the halo? :B

Sszeyl:"You forgot that your ears look like horns when you angle them like that."

  • Papa wiggles his ears.

Liatai:Anyone have anything to discuss over breakfast, or shall we head into fast-forward mode? :3

Sszeyl: (( Hmmm. ))

  • Ghostwish switches the channel to porn. »

Gnogglebolt:"Anyway…anyone going to help with draining the storeroom? I can't think of much to do, I don't have materials or time to work with."

Terri:"Can I play in the puddles?"

Sszeyl:"If you have buckets, I can help."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt nods to Sszeyl. "As….horrifically crude as it is, I'm afraid a bucket brigade is all I can think of. And yes, there are plenty around that have been catching leaks."

Elros:"I do not have bailing supplies, but if you need another pair of hands, I can provide them."

Elros:"Crude perhaps, but effective.

Sszeyl:*fast-forward powers engage?*

Brian Toris:"… Why not. Not like there's much else to do here…"

Liatai:… XD

GM:And so, the bucket brigade was kicked into action!

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt gathers up all the buckets in the hideout, empties them outside, and takes them to just outside the door.

Gnogglebolt:Very carefully, he uses his tools to cut a small hole in the door, and from thjere, began filling up buckets and handing them off

Gnogglebolt:BucketBrigade-a-go-go

GM:At some point during the day, Gnogglebolt has another conversation with the goblins.

Gnogglebolt:…I do? o.o

GM:Yes, you do. :P

TMG:erm… OH

Ghostwish:XDGnogglebolt:Anyway, room successfully drained?

  • Terri helps carry small buckets, but spends most of her time jumping in puddles. "Whee!"

GM:Yes indeed! And aside from the room-draining, today is uneventful. Let's check the weather forecast for the evening… « 1d100 = 76 »

GM:Brr! Tonight is surprisingly chilly. A nice reminder that autumn is on its way.

TMG:uhum…hmm…thinking…

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 20 + 3 = 23 » Craft (painting) check!

Liatai::O* Sszeyl makes an illustration in his journal.

Terri:"Wow… That's better than Vira's drawings!"

TMG:(…why am I suddenly imagining Terri as Edith or Agnes from Despicable Me? >.> )

Liatai:*snrk!*

Terri:"It's so FLUFFEH!!"

Ghostwish:sorry I've been inactive. dashing around the house.

Liatai:It's OK!

TMG:Hmm…

Sszeyl:"Thank you."

Sszeyl:"It's just a simple ink drawing."

  • Sszeyl makes this illustration one of Rainfall.

Sszeyl: (( Because it's such an alien concept! ))

Sszeyl: (( Water falling from the sky! ))

Terri:"You should meet Vira sometime! She loves to draw."

Sszeyl:"…"

Sszeyl:"She wouldn't happen to be an elf lady would she?"

Terri:"Huh? Oh, no! Vira's my baby sister!"

Sszeyl:"Oh?"

Terri:"Mm-hmm! She's really shy, but she draws really well! She draws all kinds of heroes and monsters out of books…"

Sszeyl:"I'll have to meet her then. :3"

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 19 + 3 = 22 » Craft (painting) check!

Sszeyl:Another illustration!

Sszeyl:Of the night sky. :O

Gnogglebolt:At some point during the day…

Gnogglebolt:"I need to stop in town for a bit, grab a few parts. I also need to chat with the goblins awaiting trial, I hope that won't take too long."

Sszeyl:"I'll come with you."

Sszeyl:"Doug needs to be returned."

Gnogglebolt:"Alright." Gnogglebolt looks to everyone else (assuming everyone, including goblins, are in the same room at whatever time this is) "You call can handle the plan while we're gone?"

Gnogglebolt:*you all

Derish Snowfur:"I would rather they show sooner than later."

Gnogglebolt:"…pardon?"

Derish Snowfur:Derish yawns, and stretches. "All this waiting is tiresome. We are never so idle for so long in the north."

Gnogglebolt:"Well, that's the thing about stakeout, you don't know where your enemy is, so you wait for them to come to you…guess you wouldn't have much call for that in the wilderness, except when you know where a herd of animals will be in the next hour…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt shrugs, and heads out with Sszeyl.

GM:Now, here's my question, Gnogglebolt and Sszeyl… Would you like to play out the goblin conversation later in favor of getting the ball rolling, or now?

TMG:hrrrm….yeah, I'll do it later.

TMG:And, oh crap.

TMG:I don't have GP in my tokens notes o.o

Liatai::Liatai:>:Liatai:Do you have your character sheet?

TMG:I could have sworn I kept it there!

TMG:My character sheet

TMG:sheet's GP is…outdated D:TMG:cruuud.

TMG:Ah well, I'll hunt through the logs later.

TMG:I'll just keep track of what I spend now.

Liatai:Righto.

TMG:« 10/3 = 10 / 3 = 3.333333333333333333333333333333333 »

Sszeyl:« 10/0 = Invalid expression: 10/0. »

Liatai:3 gold, 3 silver, 3 copper. x3

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt and Sszeyl head out, and arrive approximately two hours later.

Gnogglebolt:*arrive back

Sszeyl:"Wow."

Sszeyl:"I have not seen a verbal bitchslapping like that…ever."

TMG:what? one hour round trip, hour in town :B

GM:The rest of the night is quiet, if chilly.

TMG:hmm…how many hours of sleep can Gnogglebolt lose in a single night without affecting him?

TMG:(fortunately, don't have to worry about spellcaster things…)

GM:Assuming he naps throughout the next day, I'd say three or four.

TMG:and oh crap, browser crashed. May fall out here.

TMG:hmm…oh well, nevermind.

GM:Anyone have anything to do during the night, or shall we fast-forward again?

Gnogglebolt:After the sun has gone down, Gnogglebolt yawns, and heads off to bed. "Who's watching out tonight? The bird, or Sszeyl?"

Gnogglebolt:"Or someone else who can see in the dark?"

Sszeyl:"I'm on it."

Sszeyl:Out to the tree he goes!

Gnogglebolt:Sszeyl tranced during the day?

TMG:erp, not impersonated

Sszeyl: (( Yep. Earlier. ))

Sszeyl: (( He only needs four hours, and can be active the rest of the day. ))

Sszeyl: (( Also, GM, lost mah token in the tree. x3 ))

GM:Be right back, gonna rescue a drow stuck up a tree… X3

TMG is disconnected.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+5 = 14 + 5 = 19 » Spot check!

Sszeyl:For things through the night.

Liatai:The night is quiet and still.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 12 + 3 = 15 » Craft (painting) check!

Sszeyl:Illustration of the Torris family thus far, as an example of non-slave humans.

Sszeyl:Trofim doesn't count.

Liatai:XDSszeyl:He's getting an entire chapter dedicated to him.

TMG has connected.

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

TMG:okay, what'd I miss, and did my last line get through…ah

TMG:darn, it didn;t

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt sets his leather armor, light crossbow, and morningstar at the ready next to where he's sleeping for the night, and dozes off.

Elros:Elros dozes off in one of the chairs around the table.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 15 + 3 = 18 » Craft (painting) check!

Sszeyl:Last illustration of the day.

Sszeyl:The Kirn mountains, from the outside.

GM:On to Day 5! Let's check the weather. « 1d100 = 75 »

Barshal:"The weather is always lovely this time of year."

GM:Brr! Seems we're in the middle of a cold snap.

Sszeyl:Enough that there's frost on the ground?

GM:Not quite. It's about 55 degrees Farenheit.

Sszeyl: (( That's cold? ))

GM:It's August.

Sszeyl: (( Details. :P ))

Liatai::PGM:Today is also quiet. Anyone got anything they want to do today?

Sszeyl:Aside from more illustrating. No.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt actually spends most of the day fiddling with minature parts that he got from town.

Gnogglebolt:One moment…

GM:Going to try for a Craft check, Gnogglebolt?

Gnogglebolt:yeah

GM:DC 20.

Gnogglebolt:Craft (technological device) « 1d20+13 = 6 + 13 = 19 »

TMG:Dooooof.

TMG:No progress, but he didn't ruin any materials.

GM:Exactly!

GM:Fast-forward to Day 6?

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt, using his smallest tools, fiddles with the parts…but by the end of the day, he isn't satisfied, and lets them fall apart.

Ghostwish:yup!

GM:« 1d100 = 74 »

GM:Man oh man, it's a consistent cold snap. XD It's about 45 degrees F outside.

TMG:is the cave semi-warm?

Derish Snowfur:"Finally, it's not so ungodly hot anymore."

Elros:Elros is glad that leather armor provides a degree of insulation.

GM:Its temperature is more constant than the outside temperature, but it's starting to get a little chilly.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt likewise bundles up in his armor.

  • Maximillian Toris is probably taking some time to practice his fire-breathing by the side of the pond… Perform « 1d20+10 = 14 + 10 = 24 »

GM:The day and night are both quiet.

GM:On to Day 7! The last day of the stakeout!

GM:Unless Gnogglebolt wants to try another Craft check?

Gnogglebolt:"Well, we're just about out of rations, as most of what we got off of Blacksword has been going towards feeding the goblins…"

Gnogglebolt:"If no one arrives today, then we'll probably have to call it and head home tomorrow."

  • Sszeyl has been observing a peculiar fox in the bushes. :o A brown fox.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 13 + 3 = 16 » Craft (painting) check!

  • Papa heads outside for a bit to take a nap in the sunshine.
  • Sszeyl attempts to illustrate it.

Liatai:… before I say that, I'd better do a weather check. >.> « 1d100 = 85 »

Liatai:Glad I checked! It's rainy out today. Not a storm, but it's drizzling.

TMG:and yeah, Gnogglebolt spends 8 hours (-if he's uninterrupted…) on his pocketwatch.

Liatai:Craft check?

Gnogglebolt:Craft (technological device); « 1d20+13 = 12 + 13 = 25 »

Gnogglebolt:« 25*20 = 25 * 20 = 500 »

Gnogglebolt:« 1000-500 = 1000 - 500 = 500 »

TMG:whoa, he's halfway done already :o

Liatai:Woo! :D

Liatai:… actually, hang on. Did you do a check on Day 6?

TMG:…Oops.

TMG:Okay, that -was- Day Siz check. >.>

TMG:*six

Liatai:X3Gnogglebolt:At the end of day Six, Gnogglebolt is fairly happy. A small round device with many minute cogs and gears inside is taking shape.

Gnogglebolt:And real day seven… « 1d20+13 = 18 + 13 = 31 »

Gnogglebolt:…Don't even need to do the math. x3

Liatai:The pocketwatch is complete! :D

Liatai:Now, how are you going to set it? >.>

Gnogglebolt:Halfway through the day, Gnogglebolt emits an elated shout. "Suc-cess!" He holds the device, an ordinary watch (but not so ordinary to anyone outside of Mazio)

Gnogglebolt:Halfway through the day, Gnogglebolt emits an elated shout. "Suc-cess!" He holds the device, an ordinary watch (but not so ordinary to anyone outside of Mazio)

TMG:uhhhhm…

TMG:has the sun already passed it's zenith?

Liatai:Yes.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks outside, and shrugs. "Oh well. I'll set it tomorrow."

Maximillian Toris:"What is it, anyway?" Max looks curious.

TMG:(by the way, check baschat, Liatai)

Liatai:I did.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt winds it up, then holds it up to Max, as the watch ticks and the second hand moves. "It's a pocketwatch. It tells time."

Gnogglebolt:"Unfortunately, I have to -know- exactly what time it is when I first use it, to set it, so…it's not accurate now."

TMG:(oh, missed your confirming comment, whups)

Maximillian Toris:"So, it's like a firmament stone… but with gears and such instead of a crystal?"

Gnogglebolt:"Basically. Except these are far more common and much easier to make. Practically everyone in Mazio has one."

Gnogglebolt:"it's actually very confusing ere. No one here in Akellon actually knows -exactly- what time it is at any given time…"

Gnogglebolt:"How am I supposed to keep schedules?" Gnogglebolt grumbles to himself.

  • Maximillian Toris shrugs. "We seem to manage."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt snorts, but doesn't say anything.

  • Sszeyl trances.

GM:The rest of the day and night is quiet, if drizzly.

Gnogglebolt:He looks around the hideout, knowing the sun was sinking outside. "Well…I knew it was possible the necromancers wouldn't come anyway…"

Gnogglebolt:"Disappointing all the same."

GM:Anyone got anything at all they want to do in the hideout before departure the next day? Do it now. :3

GM:I'll be back in a bit.

Elros:Elros hmms. "Gnogglebolt, would it be possible to build in some sort of signaling device? If the necromancers came some time later, something that could alert us, even if we were far away?"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt frowns and looks down, rubbing his chin, deep in thought.

Gnogglebolt:"I think so. Problem is, it would take weeks to construct."

Elros:"Mmm, that is a problem, yes."

Gnogglebolt:"My craft is a noble one, but not exactly speedy."

  • Sszeyl goes to check on his cleaned cave.

Gnogglebolt:"However, I haven been fiddling with using some theories common amongst Mazians about sacrificing reliability for quicker costruction. I can't implement any of them at the moment, unfortunately

Elros:"Lest we end up with a machine like those from that little beach adventue."

Faerie:Okay, that was sorta not canon. >.>

Liatai:X3TMG:Okay folks, we may have a little problem here…

Ghostwish:?Sszeyl: (( Get on with it, man! :O ))

Liatai whispers: You have no idea how exquisite your timing was. >.>

You whisper to Liatai: Oh?

TMG:Argh. Ah, meany, looks like that "roleplayed later" conversation with the goblins isn't going to happen, no point.

TMG:anyway, in lieu of that…Gnogglebo;t's gotta talk to the other characters before lights out

Sszeyl: (( I'm confused. ))

TMG:Sorry, frantic whispering :(

Sszeyl: (( Could I at least get a why? :o ))

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt goes through the hideout, and gathers everyone up. "Alright everyone, there's one more thing I need to talk to you about."

TMG:ehhhhhhh…..

TMG:personal issue. If laiati wants to be more verbose, she can.

Faerie:brb, need to help remove christmas tree lights.

Liatai:All right.

TMG:any other characters saying anything?

TMG:Any "moves with gnogglebolt", anything?

  • Sszeyl is still at the other cave. :T

Sszeyl:Checking it for flood damage.

Liatai:No flood damage. This cave seems much more strongly-built than the goblin cave.

Liatai:It's not even moist.

  • Sszeyl returns to the cave.

Sszeyl:"What have I missed?"

Gnogglebolt:"Nothing, yet. Was just about to start."

Gnogglebolt:"Anyway…"

Gnogglebolt:"I know I mentioned to you all that I was very upset that you killed all those Blacksword goblins. But, did I remember to mention that, because of this, you have actually created a lot more work for me?"

Sszeyl:"Not that I remember."

Gnogglebolt:"Oh well. But..you have. Because all those goblins were killed, I've been having quite a thorny dilemma to deal with. One that will go in motion tomorrow

Gnogglebolt:"You see…the ones we have in cages are almost the only ones left. If we simply release them now, as originally planned…they won't survive."

TMG:(no comments?)

Derish Snowfur:Derish facepaws, hard.

  • Sszeyl poses as The Thinker.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+2 = 20 + 2 = 22 » Wis check!

Sszeyl:"I have an idea!"

Gnogglebolt:"Anyway, I've been speaking with them, as well as talking to the others back at Castleton, and I've come up with a plan."

Sszeyl:"You go first."

Gnogglebolt:"The remnants of both tribes are going to merge. Yes, that sounds difficult on their end, but they have all already agreed."

Gnogglebolt:"The unification should go smoothly. That's not the part that's the most work, however."

Barshal:"is that all?"

Gnogglebolt:"the former Blacksword tribe, like the Redmaw tribe, has a den. And all of the blacksword's elderly and young, anyone not fit for combat, has been left behind there. Tomorrow, I am going to have to go to this den and collect them." Gnogglebolt quickly holds up his hands to keep any sudden comments.

Gnogglebolt:"None of you are under any obligation whatsoever to help. In fact, I'm not really counting on it. The only reason we've been working together for the moment is getting necromancers. I will return to assist with that, but I must go do this first. If anyone -does- want to help, that will be greatly appreciated."

Gnogglebolt:"But if I must, I'll manage alone."

Derish Snowfur:"No."

Barshal:"It is against my order's wishes. I decline."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt shrugs. "Yeah, I thought so. Oh well."

Sszeyl:"You go just to gather them?"

Sszeyl:"Not to purge them?"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt frowns at Sszeyl. "Yes, only to gather."

Sszeyl:"Then I'll help out."

Maximillian Toris:"I'd come, but… eh, I've kind of got other obligations. Tharky's coming to town tomorrow, and I promised I'd pick him up."

Gnogglebolt:"Ah, thank you Sszeyl."

Terri::O "Tharky's coming?!" :D

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt then scratches his hea.d

Gnogglebolt:"You know, on second thought. Remember morgan/zach I was telling you about?"

Faerie:Right, back, sorry.

Faerie:All the lights are off the tree now.

Derish Snowfur:"The necromancers?"

Gnogglebolt:"Yes, the one who was double-dealing both Blacksword and Redmaw, the one I suspect killed and raised redmaw, then told Blacksword he was dead."

Gnogglebolt:"There might be a possibility he returned to Blacksword after that, he must have done this for a reason."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt pauses for a moment.

Gnogglebolt:"But I admit, I'm grasping at staws."

Barshal:"Ah. So there is a chance we are staking out in the wrong location."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt frowns. "Not exactly, no."

Gnogglebolt:"Only Redmaw has the corpse-selling business going."

Gnogglebolt:"Zach/Morgan is the only one who seems to vist Blacksowrd as well, and he did not do so under the guise of a necromancer."

Gnogglebolt:"I'm actually surprised that no necromancers came around here, I suspect despite our precautions, this location was compromised anyway."

Elros:"Whatever the case may be, I will come with you, if you wish. I had not a plan otherwise…and if anything does happen, you could use an extra pair of hands around, I'd reckon."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt smiles. "Thank you, Elros."

Sszeyl:"But I warn you."

Derish Snowfur:"So, there is a chance we might find the necromancers at the blacksword camp?"

Sszeyl:"I'm only going to this den to help gather. Anything that erupts from it, I make no promises."

Gnogglebolt:"There is an -astronimical- chance we might find -a- necromancer at the Blacksword camp, or maybe learn that he's visted since last we knew about it."

Derish Snowfur:"Astro what? I didn't ask about the star flows!"

Elros:"He means very small chance."

Elros:"Very very small."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt winces. He didn't like false pretenses… "I mean that the chance is small enough as to almost be ignored."

Gnogglebolt:"but it exists nonetheless. Take what you will."

Gnogglebolt:"It is a possibility, but not a probability."

Derish Snowfur:Derish huffs, and shrugs. "Then I shall stay here."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt shrugs again. "Very well."

Sszeyl:"Have the two groups determined whom will be the dominant of the groups?"

Sszeyl: (( Erg. ))

Sszeyl:dominant group*

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks around. "Pardon?"

Faerie:Back soon, vaccuming pine needles.

Sszeyl:"The Blackswords are the numerically superior of the two. But the Redmaws have mages and trained warriors still. Disputes could come to blows."

Sszeyl:"So having who is in charge of what should be hammered out at the beginning."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt presses a hand to his forehead at Sszeyl's "numerically superior" comment.

Gnogglebolt:"Not anymore, they aren't. Like I said, that's what you all took care of."

Sszeyl:"Oh?"

Sszeyl:"The Redmaws have no elderly. They have no non-combat persons."

Sszeyl:"And we have no idea of the Blacksword's group."

Sszeyl:"They could very well be a well established tribe."

Gnogglebolt:"Well…" He looks up at Sszeyl's comment that they could be well established. "Except they -aren't-. LIke I said, I've been talking to the prisoners. Very reluctantly, they agreed that they would not be able to survive alone, there aren't enough able-bodied members of them left."

Sszeyl:"So it would be the Redmaws who come out dominant due to this. I see."

Gnogglebolt:"That's the only reason they even agreed to spend the same time in community service with the Redmaws while their noncombatants stay in the city, which I am already preparing. They know it's their best chance of survival."

Gnogglebolt:"Plus, it gives them bonding time in a controlled environment."

Sszeyl:"Very well."

Sszeyl:"While we're all located in one place. Shall we divide the spoils of the latest combat situation?"

Gnogglebolt:"But yes. All I'm doing tomorrow is going to the den with the "prisoners", having them tell each other the situation, and escort them back to Castleton. And there won't be any confrontations or forcing, either. If they don't come willingly, they don't come at all."

Gnogglebolt:"yes, that seems a good idea…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt helps gather everything that was gotten from the Blacksword engagement into the room.

Liatai:The loot that hasn't been divided… a pouch containing a pale white translucent stone, a clear violet stone, an aquamarine stone, and a black pearl; three vials of clear, light blue liquid that smells faintly of sweet raspberries; well-made studded leather armor, sized small; 4 thunderstones; a well-made shortbow, sized medium; a climber's kit; well-made thieves' tools; well-made artisan's tools; a well-made trumpet; 100 feet of silk rope; a well-made longsword with a black leather-wrapped grip, sized medium; a chest; ten sacks; a jade six-sided die; a gold bracelet set with amber; a set of five matched chased silver teacups (thrown into a sack unceremoniously); a brass tankard with intricate carving of partying orcs on it; 5 pairs of half-orc-sized cotton pants (burnt orange); ten orange goblin-sized sackcloth shirts; a pair of riding boots sized for half-orc feet; 5 gallons of the same foul-smelling goblin liquor you found in the cave; and 1 gallon strong-smelling orcish liquor in a clay jug marked "KRAGG." And, of course, Blacksword's black sword.

TMG:wait, any coin?

Liatai:8,000 copper pieces; 3,500 silver pieces; 3,670 gold pieces.

TMG:ah, alrighty.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt sets aside all the gemstones and fine antiques (pouch with stones, trumpet, jade die, bracelet, teacups, brass tankard)

Gnogglebolt:"I can look at those closer and attempt to estimate their value, but all of those would be readily sold for coin that we can further split.

Gnogglebolt:He takes the three clear-blue rasberry-smelling vials. "these are healing potions, aren't they?"

Gnogglebolt:He also takes out the suit of small leather armor. "I don't suppose this fits anyone else? I might not use it anyway, it's a little encumbering and heavier, so it might be sold too, and the coin split.

Sszeyl:"I have no use for it."

Gnogglebolt:He takes the thunderstones. "Aha! Now these are useful." He pockets one, and holds out the other three. "Who's got a good throwing arm?"

  • Sszeyl raises hand.

Derish Snowfur:"Not I."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt passes one (gingerly) to Sszeyl. "Try not to sit on it."

Liatai:X3Gnogglebolt:"You never know what might set it off."

  • Sszeyl rolls it around his hand, then puts in his wrap.

Gnogglebolt:He holds up the remaining two again. "Anyone else?"

Liatai:A well-made shortbow, sized medium; a climber's kit; well-made thieves' tools; well-made artisan's tools, 100 feet of silk rope; a well-made longsword with a black leather-wrapped grip, sized medium; a chest; ten sacks; 5 pairs of half-orc-sized cotton pants (burnt orange); ten orange goblin-sized sackcloth shirts; a pair of riding boots sized for half-orc feet; 5 gallons of the same foul-smelling goblin liquor you found in the cave; and 1 gallon strong-smelling orcish liquor in a clay jug marked "KRAGG," and, of course, Blacksword's black sword are what are left.

Gnogglebolt:"No? Last call…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt shrugs, and places two of the thunderstones carefully in his pack, and hands the last to Sszeyl. "Two for the both of us, I guess."

  • Sszeyl puts it in a different fold of his wrap.

Faerie:Ugh.

Faerie:Sorry, I was pulled away for vaccuumig, like I said.

Liatai:Hey, welcome back. ^^

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt hefts the fine shortbow, bigger tha—

Faerie:I'm back for good now, I believe.

TMG:aw -shoot-, I forgot D:TMG:Sorry, alex! Still want a thunderstone?

Faerie:Umm…what do I do with a thunderstone, exactly? ^^;

Faerie:I recall eyeing that longsword though.

TMG:You throw it, and it creates a stunning blast of sound.

TMG:alchemical item

  • Faerie nods o.o
  • Sszeyl sees Elros perk up, and offers his spare.

Liatai:Which longsword? Blacksword's, or the steel one?

TMG:and aw fuggedy, browser just locked up.

TMG:Can't see danman anymore :(

Faerie:Hmm, could Blacksword's be used one-handed?

TMG:this will follow eventually…

Liatai:It could. It's a longsword sized for a medium-sized humanoid.

Faerie:Mmhmm. Because I do theoretically have dual-wielding. »

TMG:;)Liatai:X3Liatai:You'll have to talk it out with Derish. I think he was interested in one of the swords, too.

TMG is disconnected.

Sszeyl: (( Derish wanted the standard longsword, if I remember correctly. ))

Ghostwish:aye, wolf0man snagged it.

Liatai:OK, so Blacksword's sword is still up for grabs. :3

Elros:"Unless someone else disagrees, I would like Blacksword's…erm…sword.

Faerie:…is it black? :U

Liatai:It is indeed! The metal has been dyed black.

Sszeyl:"No objections from me."

Derish Snowfur:"This longsword is better."

Faerie:I feel fancy with this one though.

Faerie:x3Sszeyl: (( "Everyone wants to be the bad boy with the black sword"~ ))

Liatai:Both swords are masterwork-quality. :3

Faerie:Yes yes, get the "black sword" jokes out of your systems now. x3

TMG has connected.

Faerie:>.>

Liatai:That… didn't even occur to me. XD

TMG:………..

TMG:I'm almost glad I -did- disconnect right then. o.o

Faerie:I'm sorry, I thought it, and now you all get to hear it. D:Liatai:XDTMG:anyway, repost of things still left?

Liatai:A well-made shortbow, sized medium; a climber's kit; well-made thieves' tools; well-made artisan's tools, 100 feet of silk rope; a chest; ten sacks; 5 pairs of half-orc-sized cotton pants (burnt orange); ten orange goblin-sized sackcloth shirts; a pair of riding boots sized for half-orc feet; 5 gallons of the same foul-smelling goblin liquor you found in the cave; and 1 gallon strong-smelling orcish liquor in a clay jug marked "KRAGG."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt hefts the shortbow, which is almost as big as he is. "I suppose…this was made for you tall-legs. Anyone need it?"

Elros:To Sszeyl "If you'd have a use for the two thunderstones, you may have them. I think one could be useful, but I must say that I've never had occasion to use one before."

Sszeyl:"I don't even know what these things do. :D"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt covers his faces with a hand, and impressive feat while still holding the "giant" shortbow. "It is a thunderstone, a common alchemical item that creats a cacophanous blast of sound that disorients anyone caught in it. You have no alchemists where you come from, sszeyl?"

Sszeyl:"They're rare."

Sszeyl:"We have more necromancers."

Gnogglebolt:"…..right."

Gnogglebolt:"So, no calls for this bow?" Gnogglebolt shrugs, and puts that aside with the gems, andtiques, and studded leather armor.

Gnogglebolt:Next, he pulls out the three kits; climbers, theive's and artisans.

Gnogglebolt:"Well, I've already got a set each except the climbing kit…"

  • Sszeyl inspects the Artisan's kit.

Liatai:The tools within are geared toward leatherwork.

TMG:x3Liatai:.. What, what did I say this time? XD

TMG:oh, just an "I see what you did that" :P

TMG:*thar

Liatai:I don't see what I did thar! XD

TMG:Sszeyl's been wanting to do leatherwork for awhile :B

Liatai:— OH.

TMG:and Gnogglebolt's already got a kit…

Liatai:I'd completely forgotten. :D

Liatai:Convenient! :D

Ghostwish:brb

Ghostwish:back!

TMG:So, Sszeyl takes the artisan's kit, I presume? :B

GM:Mid-session roll call. Who's here? :3

TMG:Present!

Faerie:YoGhostwish:here, but not for much longer.

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

GM:Okay. So, what's left are thieves' tools, a climber's kit, rope, sacks, a chest, and various articles of clothing.

GM:And some bad-smelling alcohol.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt holds up the rope. "Anyone mind if I hold onto this?"

  • Sszeyl shakes his head. He's looking at the jewels and stuff.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt packs away the rope, and follows Sszeyl's gaze. "Don't worry drow, those will be converted into coin for all of us soon enough."

  • Sszeyl winces.

Faerie:Oh, and at some point, I should figure out what Blacksword's sword's stats are. >.>

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt piles the clothing and sacks off to the side. "I don't suppose we need those…"

Liatai:It's a standard longsword,but masterwork. +1 on attack rolls.

Faerie:+1 to damage or on the attack bonus?

Sszeyl:"Must everything not of immediete use be cast aside?"

Gnogglebolt:He also gingerly places the alchohol with it, pinching his nose. "Definitely don't need that…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks up. "What here looks like it would be useful in the future to you?"

Sszeyl:"I do not presume to know the future."

Gnogglebolt:"If you think we -will- actually use something then speak up…oh."

Gnogglebolt:"Well then yes, exactly. Anything that has no functional value, even if potentially in the future, should be converted to funds, which can then be converted back into anything we -actually- need. That's how it works."

Sszeyl:"I do not presume to know the future."

Sszeyl: (( Rage! ))

Gnogglebolt:"That is not what I…oh, nevermind."

Sszeyl: (( Hit up instead of shift. ))

Sszeyl: (( Ignore that. ))

TMG:oh, sorry xD

TMG:Thought he was repearing himself

TMG:hen thought rage was you joke-emoting him for having to repeat himself :B

Sszeyl:"…I don't suppose I could divert from my cut of the funds to compensate for the value of some of them?"

Gnogglebolt:"…pardon?"

Gnogglebolt:"Well, if you're talking about, say, the gems, then yes, if you -really- wanted to keep one for yourself, then I suppose what we would have gotten from selling it would come out of your share of coin."

Sszeyl:"I'm an artist. I can see the time and work that went into those pieces. It physically hurts to see them go off like they were worthless."

Gnogglebolt:"Same for most of these antiques…and the armor, since you couldn't wear it…oh, no!"

Gnogglebolt:"The gems will go to reputable jewelers, and I'm sure there's plenty of collector shops that would like these other baubles."

Sszeyl:"Bah. To merchants who see only gold."

Gnogglebolt:"But…beyond that, I'm afaid I cannot see your point. My life, on the other hand, is about building things that are -useful-, not pretty."

Terri:"Like Grandpa's shop?"

Maximillian Toris:"Yes, Terr, like Grandpa's shop."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks around, then back to Sszeyl. "Well, it seems the Toris family has a shop of their own. Do you think they will appreciate them?"

Sszeyl:"I would need to speak with the owner of the shop first."

Sszeyl:"But I trust Terri's judgement as much as I can on this."

Maximillian Toris:"That shouldn't be a problem!"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt shrugs. "If you do truly wish to possess these items, and are willing to give up an equivalent amount of what we would have gotten out of your own share, then I suppose that's acceptable."

Gnogglebolt:"And I shall estimate their values as best as I can."

Gnogglebolt:"But is that what you really want to do?"

TMG:…testing.

  • Liatai pokes people. >.>

TMG:am I here?

Liatai:Yep.

TMG:ah, whew

Gnogglebolt:"Well, while you think on that…"

Terri:"Grandpa can find a good home for them, don't worry!"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt prepares the coins for everyone to count together

TMG:what was the coin count again?

Liatai:8,000 copper pieces; 3,500 silver pieces; 3,670 gold pieces

Gnogglebolt:"Now…" Gnogglebolt looks around at everyone, including the Toris family. "Who is getting a share? You two get one, absolutely—" He says to max and brian, "But what about your sister?"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt also glances at Justinian. "I don't know if your laws allow you to take such spoils."

Justinian Rubus:".. unfortunately, they don't." Justinian scowls.

Gnogglebolt:"It's not a bribe, but I don't know if it counts as…ill-gotten or not."

Ghostwish:brb, bio

Sszeyl:"To answer your question, yes, I am sure."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt then thinks for a moment.

Gnogglebolt:"Does the city guard as a whole accept public donations?"

Justinian Rubus:"… They do, but you'd have to talk to my superior about that…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt nods. "Alright, that will be out of my share then."

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks back to the Toris family.

Maximillian Toris:"Huh? Well… hmm."

Brian Toris:"It would be smaller shares… but it is gold…"

Maximillian Toris:"How about a compromise? However much you want to give us, we'll split evenly. Even if it's nothing; really, we just came to keep an eye on our sister, after all!"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks at everyone in the room. "Count them collectively as one share?"

TMG:….

TMG:roll call?

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

TMG:where are you people :o

TMG:Okay, one…

TMG:ghost?

Liatai:This is why I kind of wanted to move things along… ^^'

Sszeyl:"I'd vote against one share. They each contributed, they each deserve a reward."

Ghostwish:back!

TMG:There you are. Read up.

Faerie:*wave*

TMG:ah, and there's alex

Derish Snowfur:"Sounds fine."

Barshal:"I agree as well."

Gnogglebolt:"Wait, which one sounds fine?"

Ghostwish:I have to go soon. My time limit is nearly up.

Gnogglebolt:"One share for all of them, or one for each?"

TMG:ghost; ah dang, that's really early today…

Derish Snowfur:"One share."

TMG:well, if we can get Danman on, we can keep going >.>

Sszeyl: (( Okay, I'm all for in-depth roleplay. ))

Sszeyl: (( But this is becoming boring. ))

Barshal:"Equal share."

Elros:Elros ponders.

Ghostwish:three and a half hours, tech.

TMG:(I'm not the one who brought all the NPCs along >.> )

Ghostwish:We're closing in on it.

TMG:ghost; yeah, that's my point. Very short, considering out usual length o.o

Ghostwish:7-8 hours? No thanks.

TMG:but no worries. x3

Liatai:I agree, this is dragging on quite a bit. ^^'

TMG:well then, GM-fiat how much the NPCs gip us out of :B

Liatai::PGhostwish:ROLL A D100 AND GENDERSWAP THE PARTY.

TMG:if this has to go out-of-character to get resolved, then you are the one to do it

Ghostwish:Wait, I sound like Meany.

Liatai:Elros has yet to weigh in.

Elros:"Well…hmm…"

Elros:"If they were simply here to pick up Terri, perhaps one share between them. It will still be not insignificant when divided up, I'd reckon."

Gnogglebolt:"Alright, everyone happy with that?"

Maximillian Toris:"Sounds fair to me."

VAE has connected.

Ghostwish:OMG A VAE

VAE:yep

Liatai:Danman!! :D

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

Gnogglebolt:"Alrighty…let's start counting."

Ghostwish:annnnnd my time's up. Ordinary session folks. Hopefully it pick up soon. :D

TMG:seeya, ghost :)

Sszeyl: (( Later. ))

Liatai:Hopefully. Seeya, Ghost. ^^

Ghostwish is disconnected.

TMG:Liatai: 8,000 copper pieces; 3,500 silver pieces; 3,670 gold pieces

TMG:dvidied by…

TMG:trofim, derish, barshal, sseyl, elros, gnogglebolt, toris family…

Liatai:« 80+350+3670 = 80 + 350 + 3670 = 4100 »

Liatai:« 4100/7 = 4100 / 7 = 585.7142857142857142857142857142857 »

Liatai:Eugh. Messy.

VAE:XDSszeyl:Hmm.

Liatai:« 585.7*7 = 585.7 * 7 = 4099.9 »

Liatai:One SP left over if everyone gets 585 GP and 7 SP.

TMG:…it got lost. That a lot of coinse to track by hand :B

Liatai:Yay! Not messy! :D

TMG:*coins

Faerie:Sacrifice it to a diety, or something. :U

  • Papa ate it. :B

Papa:*om nom nom shiny metal thing*

Brian Toris:"What are you, a rust monster?"

Liatai:Righto! 585 GP and 7 SP to everyone. :3

VAE:well, silver doesn't rust… he's a corrosion dog

TMG:liatai; anyway, got a separate list of everything that was set aside?

Liatai:Yep… let me check and make sure it's right.

Liatai:A pouch containing a pale white translucent stone, a clear violet stone, an aquamarine stone, and a black pearl; well-made studded leather armor, sized small; a well-made shortbow, sized medium; a well-made trumpet; a chest; ten sacks; a jade six-sided die; a gold bracelet set with amber; a set of five matched chased silver teacups (thrown into a sack unceremoniously); a brass tankard with intricate carving of partying orcs on it; 5 pairs of half-orc-sized cotton pants (burnt orange); ten orange goblin-sized sackcloth shirts; a pair of riding boots sized for half-orc feet; 5 gallons of the same foul-smelling goblin liquor you found in the cave; 1 gallon strong-smelling orcish liquor in a clay jug marked "KRAGG."

TMG:er, I meant the valuables, not the cloths and sacks and alchohol >.> but, that works

TMG:anyway…

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt takes the gems and antiques and places them in the spare chest, after writing down everthing that was there on a slip of paper

  • Terri counts out a share for Papa. "Here you go, Papa!"

Papa:*wag wag wag wag wag*

Gnogglebolt:"So, who's trusted the most among us to hold on to these valuables, just for the moment, until I get back from collecting the goblins tomorrow?

Brian Toris:"… If you want any help appraising those, I have a pretty good eye for gemstones…"

Trofim:Terri and papa should guard them … kids have little use for treasure

Terri:"We'll keep watch on them like they're our hoard! You know, like dragons have!"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt smiles. "I suppose I can live with that."

Gnogglebolt:He pushes the chest towards Terri

  • Terri pulls it closer and sits on it. "See, we'll guard it like this!"
  • Papa curls up around the side of it.

Trofim:*laughs*

  • Papa wags his tail.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt gets a silly grin on his face. "You'd make a great dragon, Miss Terri."

Trofim:See Beridze? *takes the skull out and whispers* The kid isn't a lie-mage for sure, she won't taint anything… and probably won't steal either

  • Maximillian Toris laughs.

Liatai:Oop, dog duty calls. I'll be back in a few.

Faerie:*snerk* Well, good to see ZTrofim has his priorities straight.

VAE:heh

VAE:as an aside, one of my cats apparently dislikes raw duck and raw carp, but loves bits of pasta and fresh bread crumbs

VAE:(various kitchen fragments that is)

Gnogglebolt:"Alright…I suppose that's all to be done today. Last night of watch now…in the morning, I, Sszeyl, and Elros will head off to collect the goblins while the rest of you go to town and rest, I suppose…"

Gnogglebolt:"Or maybe I should also go to town first, to report to the guard captain…"

TMG:oh crap, almost forgot

TMG:One sec danman, gonna whisper you

TMG:Okay. Just pretend Trofim already decided earlier, and just say now what he's doing

VAE:hmm, he'd probably go along with Sszeyl.. he doesn't exactly trust him not to mess up

  • Liatai returns, a Liasicle.
  • VAE licks the liasickle

Liatai:Brr, the wind out there is wicked! Anyway.

TMG:alright then

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

TMG:guess we can go to morning

TMG:and—hey!

TMG:Perrrrrfect!

TMG:Ghosts's characters are the only ones not following, and he's not here! xD

TMG:Just realized that xD

Liatai:Isn't it amazing how these things work out sometimes? X3

VAE:heh

GM:Let's check the weather for Day 8 of the campaign. « 1d100 = 37 »

GM:A clear, calm day. Perfect for travel!

Sszeyl:"Something horrible is going to happen today."

Brian Toris:"Something horrible has already happened," Brian grumbles from the storeroom. "I woke up and there's no tea."

Maximillian Toris:"I'd better be off. Somebody's got to be in town to meet Tharky when he comes in."

Gnogglebolt:"Alright…actually, one sec."

Maximillian Toris:"Hm?"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks to all the others. "Might anyone be able to stay here with the goblins in the cages? I need to go back to report to the guard captain, and then I'll be right back, but I can't rbing them in yet."

Gnogglebolt:"I'll be able to take Nintrok and Slat back, though. And I'll be back quickly."

Brian Toris:"Terri's guarding your treasure. I'll guard her and the goblins."

Justinian Rubus:"Finally…"

Gnogglebolt:"Heh, alright."

Terri:"Whaddya think, Bri? Is this a good lair?"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt goes to see the goblins (he's been checking in on them the past few days, too)

Brian Toris:"… The caverns are a little narrow," he says with a wry grin.

  • Nintrok and Slat look up as he enters.
  • Nintrok shrugs.

VAE:grah.. everyone has new tokens.. i should make a new Trofim one

Liatai:Yeah, there was a spate of token-creation while you were away. X3

Trofim:*whispers to Beridze* I wonder how long we'll be stuck here yet

  • Nintrok shakes his head at Slat's confusion…

VAE:yeah… and i had no place to do any such fun stuff

VAE:we still stayed in my grandparents house and i can't stand the idea of someone walking in on me drawing something…

VAE:or preparing dnd stuffs… GRAH

VAE:the time wasn't bad (except for the gastrofibroscopy) but it was so unproductive!

Justinian Rubus:"This is the last day, citizen and… uh… skull of a citizen…"

VAE:hehe .. ex-citizen

Justinian Rubus:"… Good Heironeous that thing is creepy…"

VAE:heh… maybe i should make beridze an independant token

TMG:soo….vwworp tokens to Castleton? :U

TMG:and oh crap, I think my browser just crashed

Liatai:Which ones?

Liatai:Who's going along?

Faerie:Elros is going, I believe.

TMG:uh…everyone?

TMG:Sszeyl and Elros and Trofim are following Gnogglebolt as far as I know, but he's not going to the blacksowrd den yet

TMG:justininain wants to go home :B

TMG:and I guess Barshal and Derish go to the city themselves

Liatai:Prepare for vworpage! :D

TMG:since they're not accompanying gnogglebolt

Liatai:Are Nintrok and Slat coming along?

TMG:Oh! Yes, they are

TMG:so just Brian, Terri, Papa, and the Blacksowrd goblins are staying

Liatai:*vworp vworp vworp*

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt walks up to the man in charge, with Nintrok and Slat behind him.

Fat Guard In Charge:"So, the necromancer hunters return!"

Gnogglebolt:"greetings again, good sir. As promised, I have returned both of these goblins."

Gnogglebolt:"and…would-be necromancer hunters, it seems."

Fat Guard In Charge:"Stakeout didn't go as planned?"

Gnogglebolt:"For whatever reason, none fell into our trap."

Gnogglebolt:"I wonder if the location was already compromised."

Justinian Rubus:"— Reporting for duty, sir!"

Gnogglebolt:"We do have a few other leads though, but they're not very good. Not as good as this was."

Gnogglebolt:"So, I should be ready for the goblin's trial in a few days…by the way."

Fat Guard In Charge:"Aah. Sometimes the lead you think is the weakest ends up being your strongest after all. Happens all the time. Hrm?"

Sszeyl: (( Back from sammich run. ))

Gnogglebolt:"We didn't encounter any necromancers, but we -did- happend to get caught in a crossfire between other goblins while we were there."

Sszeyl: (( Didn't miss anything of importance, I see. :D ))

Gnogglebolt:"Apparently, it was a rival tribe to the one you have in custody now."

Liatai:Unless you have anything to note on the holding cells and the occupants, not really. ^^'

Gnogglebolt:"They attacked us when they were after this tribe who wasn't there anymore. Unfortunately, in my point of view, we actually happend to kill most of them instead of scaring them away."

  • Sszeyl looks around for Drit.

Fat Guard In Charge:"Goblin warfare? Hrm."

Gnogglebolt:"So now there is a broken tribe of goblins. However, I have spoken to them, and my visit here the other day was to talk to the leader here;"

Liatai:Does Trofim have any comments on being in a jail-like environment again? :P

Gnogglebolt:"they're going to merge> I'm going to be brining in a few more goblins to accompany the ones here."

Fat Guard In Charge:The eyebrows of the guard almost meet his hairline.

Fat Guard In Charge:"More?"

Gnogglebolt:"Yes, it was a hard sell. But then, you have to do what you have to do to survive—oh."

Fat Guard In Charge:"There aren't any like High Lord Bitey in there, are there?"

Gnogglebolt:"er…well, yes."

Gnogglebolt:"Oh! No, no."

Sszeyl: (( Any sign of the Drit? ))

Liatai:Sszeyl - You can't see the goblins from your current position.

Gnogglebolt:"And it's only five of them, anyway. Merely half of what is here."

TMG:(actually…Hrm.)

TMG:(Guess there is point to do that roleplay later, because Sszeyl is questioning Drit, and Gnogglebolt will be a careful referee)

Fat Guard In Charge:"… Well. If they don't cause trouble. Maybe some of them will be able to make Lord Bitey shut up."

Gnogglebolt:"Eh, doubtful."

TMG:(oh, and I just remembered, Gnogglebolt also wanted to talk to Dosemz.)

Fat Guard In Charge:"Might as well take these two back. Justinian, take these two back, but don't put them in the cell with the lone goblin. And then I expect a full report. Get on it!"

Justinian Rubus:"Yes, sir!"

  • Sszeyl moves to follow.

Trofim:Actually Trofim is rather silent and holds Beridze firmly… the more astute will notice the hold is so firm his fingers are white

TMG:(hold up meany, you "already" talked to Drit)

TMG:(remember?)

Sszeyl: (( Excuse me? ))

Sszeyl: (( I do not recall anything. ))

TMG:Gnogglebolt and Sszeyl visited the cells a few days ago in-game

Sszeyl: (( Other than you frantically whispering and never explaining. ))

TMG:but we skipped roleplaying that to keep the game moving

TMG:Yes, I'm sorry

TMG:I forgot about you

TMG:we're still doing that roleplay after all

TMG:so Sszeyl "already" talked to Drit

Sszeyl: (( Fine. Whatever. Let's get on with this. ))

TMG:Very very very sorry. I was blinded by selfishness at the time.

Justinian Rubus:"All done, sir!"

Sszeyl: (( Tech, I do not have my stress ball. Cease oocing and continue the game. Please. ))

Fat Guard In Charge:"Excellent. Now get to that report."

Justinian Rubus:"Yes sir!"

Gnogglebolt:"Oh, and one other thing."

Gnogglebolt:"What's your policy on public donations to the guard?"

Fat Guard In Charge:"They're welcome, of course. Just fill out a form here with the amount."

Fat Guard In Charge:"How was Rubus, by the way? Give you any trouble?"

Evil-Eyed Prisoner:*glares around at everyone*

  • Sszeyl gives Evil-Eye his icepick face.

Liatai:Intimidate check?

Sszeyl:« 1d20 = 4 »

Gnogglebolt:"Oh, Justinian performed well."

Sszeyl::PGnogglebolt:"Though, granted, there was little to perform -on-…"

  • Evil-Eyed Prisoner just laughs croakily.

Trofim:Trofim and Beridze glare too « 1d20 = 20 »

Fat Guard In Charge:"Hmm. So he might actually be improving after all…"

TMG:…Holy fing s

TMG:That skull!

  • Evil-Eyed Prisoner yelps like a startled puppy and SCRAMBLES.

TMG:That skuuuuuul! XD

VAE:i love it

  • Liatai just woke up the dog laughing. XD

TMG:That's another one for the funny pages! x

TMG:xDVAE:Well… even in prison, getting a mad looking guy and a skull to glare at ya isn't that nice an experience

Sszeyl: (( Less ooc. ))

Sszeyl: (( More moving this danged thing forward. ))

Trofim:Beridze.. that guy seems to have stomach problems… first the strange look and now he bends over

Fat Guard In Charge:"I was hoping that spending some time with a group of adventurers might help him out some. Kid's been seeing things in black and white for too long."

  • Evil-Eyed Prisoner cowers.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt takes a donation form and spends a few minutes filling it out, for 150 gold. He then hands the form and a small sack to the guard. "All the same, I suppose he deserves a small bonus out of this donation."

  • Fat Guard In Charge accepts the donation with a nod.

Fat Guard In Charge:"— oh, wait." The guard stands up and salutes with a smile. "Thank you for your kind donation, citizen!"

Gnogglebolt:"And with that, our business is concluded for the moment. Expect me back later today with the last of the goblins."

Fat Guard In Charge:"Right. We'll make sure there's space."

Gnogglebolt:"Farewell". Gnogglebolt says, waving to the man.

Sszeyl: (( Any guard reactions to having a Drow in the hizzy? ))

TMG:…he's been here before…

TMG:and not jus t in the "skipped roleplay", I think :B

VAE:any reactions to the skull?

TMG:(or has he not been here before then?)

VAE:i mean, trofim is definitely first time in *castleton* jail

VAE:he is a frequent Lorellon inmate though

Liatai:The guards are too polite to say anything at the moment. :B

Gnogglebolt:Alright… so Gnogglebolt departs, with Sszeyl, Elros, and Trofim, back to the Redmaw cave to get the goblins, then it's from there to their den

Liatai:Prepare for vworpage!

TMG:er o.o

Trofim:Uff, finally out of there… looks a lot nicer than in Lorellon…. but i don't like it, still

Trofim:there's less rats though

TMG:(when they got to the blacksword den, he told Brian and terri to go ahead and take the chest of valuables back to castleton with themselves, because he trusts them and has a list of everything in te chest anyway)

Sszeyl:« 1d20+5 = 11 + 5 = 16 » Spot check!

Liatai:The goblins take you to a hilly area, then to one particular hill with a cave in front of it.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt asks a question in Goblin.

Brian Toris:"Right. Come by the Pearldust Pawn Shop in the arcane district when you want it back."

  • Former Worg-Rider nods and replies.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt asks another question.

  • Sszeyl is wearing his worg pelts as a cloak of sorts.

Sszeyl:Purely to flaunt.

  • Former Worg-Rider is obviously uncomfortable with Sszeyl's cloak.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt is quite for a moment…then says something in a worried tone.

Trofim:Trofim is slightly pissed as he knocked out the worg and saved sszeyl's arse

Trofim:World is unfair, beridze

Trofim:i do all the work and someone else licks the cream

  • Warrior She-Goblin speaks up.

Gnogglebolt:"Err…" Gnogglebolt says in response to something sharp the worg-rider said

Gnogglebolt:"Sszeyl, must you wear that pelt? It did use to be his pet, and it is bothering him."

Sszeyl:"Unfortunately, you refused to stop so I could bring my cart. Which seemed odd since old and sick people tend to not be able to move for long distances."

  • Sszeyl is being catty.

TMG:………….

Trofim:Wait and see.. there must be a good reason why Zairith insists on shipping him along with you everywhere…

TMG:actually, gnogglebolt -would- have wanted that brought along, for that very reason.

Trofim:But then… even he might have been mistaken

TMG:so, er….do we have it, or no? :B

Liatai:Fixed.

Sszeyl:No Doug.

Sszeyl:He was returned to the stablemaster.

  • Sszeyl tosses the worg pelts into the cart.

Liatai:Fixed. :3

Gnogglebolt:"Alright…one of the goblins is going to go in first, to make sure we aren't mistaken as hostiles. But follow closely behind. I actually figured this would be a camp, not another cave…"

  • Meek She-Goblin enters, then comes back quickly. She says something to Gnogglebolt.

Sszeyl: (( Roll call? ))

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt's shoulds drop suddenly. "oh no…"

VAE:who is this roll?

Gnogglebolt:He asks something in Goblin.

Faerie:I -think- I'm going to be going to dinner soon, but I'm not sure exactly when.

GM:Might as well give myself a new token for a new map. x3

VAE:and am geting sleepy of sorts

  • Faerie snerks

VAE:but can stil go

TMG:I'm rarin' to go, of course. :3

Sszeyl:;PGnogglebolt:The gnome actually yelps.

  • Former Worg-Rider looks like he just got punched in the stomach.

Gnogglebolt:"Weapons out, now! We have skeletons!"

Gnogglebolt:He then fires something off in quick Goblin

VAE:so.. initiative?

Liatai:Sure, but marching order comes first.

Faerie:Erm…I have dinner NOW.

Liatai:Ooh. o.o

VAE:hmm

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt heads forward, gesturing for everyone else and drawing his morningstar, knowing his crossbow is no good here. "Come on, everyone!"

VAE:do we wait or break up for next week?

Sszeyl:« 1d20+1 = 12 + 1 = 13 » Init.

TMG:marching order, not init yet meany

GM:Awareness check. How are people?

TMG:Gnogglebolt's probably either in the middle or the back

TMG:Very aware.

GM:Would people be willing to come back after a break?

TMG:though Alex just left for dinner

TMG:so break?

Trofim:Trofim takes out Beridze and holds him forwards following « 1d20-1 = 19 - 1 = 18 »

Faerie:I'm technically still sitting here.

TMG:oh :o

VAE:meh

Faerie:I was just gonna wait for the decision.

VAE:combat is a good breakpoint, besides it takes tons of time

Faerie:Dinner is being served though as I speak.

GM:Let's call a break, then.

TMG:Alright! Back in 10? 20?

TMG:Other?

GM:Let's say 25.

TMG:ah, alrighty

VAE:grah.. now what to do not to fall asleep in that time?

TMG:set your alarm clock, put it right next to your head? :B

Sszeyl: (( Download LotRO? :o ))

VAE:except that the rest of the folks are sleepign

Sszeyl: (( It's seventeen gigabytes. ))

VAE:what's that?

VAE:LotrO ?

Sszeyl: (( Lord of the Rings Online. ))

TMG:going afk myself. May disconnect while I'm gone.

VAE:Well.. as i have stuff to do in the following few days and more importantly, already play World of Tanks, that one doesn;t fly either

TMG:back, and ready for restart anytime

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

Faerie:Okay, I'm back. Need to do the dishes at some point though.

TMG:how long will that take?

TMG:if it won't take long, might as well get it over with now…

Faerie:Ten minutes, maybe?

TMG:hmm.

Liatai:Might as well get it over with.

TMG:well, no one else responded immediately, so yeah, might as well go take care of that now

TMG:ahFaerie:Right, brb.

Sszeyl: (( I choose to respond when and if I feel the need. :P ))

VAE:i didn't just respond

Faerie:Alright, I'm back now.

Sszeyl: (( WB. ))

TMG:Okay!

TMG:Who's here?

GM:Roll call!

Faerie:YoSszeyl: (( Yo. ))

TMG:Present

Liatai:C-c-c-c-combo breaker! XD

TMG:Darnit, danman vanished

TMG:he was on just a minute ago in irc

VAE:alex argentum? XD

TMG:there we are

VAE:anyways, present and somewhat awake

Faerie:What about me?

TMG:Okay! Picking up right where we left off?

TMG:Marching order?

TMG:As said before Gnogglebolt is either middle or back

Faerie:I can go in first, just let me look up the dual-wielding rules again.

  • Sszeyl looks back at Elros. "Care to join me on the front line?"

TMG:um, I know we took a break at a horrible time, but this is suppoed to be a te4nse moment >.>

Worg Skeleton 1:Quite. I am rather sick of waiting in the wings, you know. *top hat, sips tea that dribbles out of its ribcage* ;3

Sszeyl: (( Let's see. ))

Sszeyl: (( We've got five goblin prisoners who need to be kept under control. The psychopath with the mace is best for that. ))

Sszeyl: (( I'm sorry. Flail. ))

Elros:Elros nods at Sszeyl. In a manner that reflects the tenseness of the situation.

TMG:erm…they're -not- prisoners

TMG:they're unbound

TMG:and they know they need to stick with us to live

TMG:long-term survival, that is

Sszeyl: (( Never underestimate a goblin's ability to double cross. ))

Gnogglebolt:"Come on, let's go! Hurry!"

Liatai:Trofim?

TMG:and trofim right behind?

VAE:yep

Sszeyl:Out come the zai.

Liatai:Initiative!

Elros:I see one up ahead.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+1 = 16 + 1 = 17 »

Gnogglebolt:« 1d20+1 = 1 + 1 = 2 »

Worg Skeleton 1:And I see you.

Faerie:Erm…

Worg Skeleton 1:« 1d20+7 = 14 + 7 = 21 »

VAE:i rolled already up there

Elros:« 1d20+3 = 19 + 3 = 22 »

VAE:was 18

Liatai:What was Trofim's result?

VAE:Trofim: Trofim takes out Beridze and holds him forwards following « 1d20-1 = 19 - 1 = 18 »

Elros has received initiative.

TMG:Gnogglebolt trips :E

Elros:Elros moves up, his weapons already drawn.

Liatai:Double move, I see. Is that all? :3

Faerie:Don't see what else I can do. >.>

Faerie:because really, flinging my sword at it would be stupid.

Worg Skeleton 1:The skeleton, noticing that something has entered its territory, lunges for the half-elf with its teeth, eye sockets blazing cherry red. « 1d20+5 = 1 + 5 = 6 »

Worg Skeleton 1:And runs into the door frame.

Trofim has received initiative.

Worg Skeleton 1:BONK.

Sszeyl:"That skeleton is most…what's a polite word in this language for horrifically incompotent?"

Liatai:Nobody ever said undead were smart. XB

VAE:what's the range of turning?

Liatai:30 feet, I believe.

Liatai:Nope, 60.

Liatai:Sorry. ^^'

TMG:…Hey, Liatai.

TMG:Did you check use individual views when you started the server?

VAE:ack!

VAE:where was i?

VAE:initially i mean

Liatai:There you were.

Liatai:I'm pretty sure I did.

Trofim:Trofim takes out Beridze and attempts to rebuke the annoying skeleton

Trofim:"Beridze, show him!"

Liatai:Turning check! 1d20+Cha.

Trofim:« 1d20 = 11 »

Trofim:arghlblarg

Worg Skeleton 1:The creature looks more bothered by the door than by Beridze.

Sszeyl:I think you mean blarghenshargle.

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Trofim:Hmm, next time try louder, beridze!

  • Sszeyl double moves. End turn.

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Liatai:Go gnome go! ^^

Faerie:Run Gnomest! Run!

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt runs as fast as his little gnome legs can carry him

Liatai:End turn?

Gnogglebolt:yeah, sorry

Elros has received initiative.

Liatai:Oh, I forgot.

Liatai:Elros, since the door is between you and the skeleton, you have cover against each other. ^^

Faerie:Mmhmm. Can I still attack normally? What i the defensive bonus for that?

Liatai:You can still attack normally. It means you have a +4 to your AC against the skeleton, but it also has a +4 to its AC against you.

Elros:Elros attacks, first with the black sword in his right hand, then with the longsword in his left. « 1d20+5-4 = 9 + 5 - 4 = 10 » right hand and « 1d20+4-4 = 11 + 4 - 4 = 11 » left hand.

Liatai:Oof! Not quite enough.

Elros:Elros is, apparently, still getting used to this whole 'two-handed' bit.

Worg Skeleton 1:The skeleton shakes its skull, then tries to bite at the arms it sees around the door! « 1d20+5 = 15 + 5 = 20 »

Sszeyl: (( Well. ))

Worg Skeleton 1:Fortunately for Elros, the door took the brunt of the blow.

Trofim has received initiative.

Sszeyl: (( I was so sure Elly was dead there. ))

Liatai:Hooray for cover! x3

Faerie:x3Liatai:Trofim!

Trofim:Now, beridze, try it louder this time! « 1d20 = 3 »

Trofim:Hmm, beridze has lost his voice it seems

Liatai:Apparently, the skull is displeased with you today. :P

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Trofim:the bloody prison

Sszeyl: (( Asian Skull no longer approves of this. ))

Trofim:it was damp there

  • Sszeyl moves to flank. :o

Liatai:Flanking! Nice going. ^^

Liatai:Attack time?

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 10 + 3 = 13 » Sai pierce!

Sszeyl:Plus two for flanking. »

Liatai:The flank saved you. ^^

Sszeyl:Macros, good for speed, bad for flanking.

Liatai:Roll damage!

Sszeyl:« 1d4+3 = 4 + 3 = 7 »

Sszeyl:O:TMG:hrm, I can't remember if skeletons have DR against slashing or piercing… >.>

Trofim:both

Trofim:they have dr/bludgeoning

Liatai:Your sai pierces a few vertebrae!

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Sszeyl: (( Sai have piercing and bludgeoning damage. ))

TMG:ooh, right…

Liatai:In the future, I would call for a Knowledge (religion) check to find this out about undead, just so you know.

TMG:er, wasn't saying in-character :B

VAE:um… it isn't so much religion as .. logic

Liatai:But for now, go gnome go! X3

VAE:there isn't much a piercing or slashing weapon does to a bunch of bones

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt rushes up as fast as he can, morningstar at the ready. End turn,

Liatai:Meh, I didn't write the rules on enemy identification. ^^'

Elros has received initiative.

Liatai:Go half-elf go! ^^

Liatai:… doesn't have the same ring to it. >.>

Elros:Elros tries again for the same attack. right: « 1d20+5-4 = 1 + 5 - 4 = 2 » and left: « 1d20+4-4 = 10 + 4 - 4 = 10 »

Faerie:…psh.

Liatai:Oof! The door is both your friend and your enemy.

TMG:plus flanking bonus

Faerie:I don't get flanking though, do I?

Worg Skeleton 1:The skeleton seems to feel that it is an enemy of the most hated kind, and tries to attack the person on the other side of the door again! « 1d20+5 = 2 + 5 = 7 »

Worg Skeleton 1:UNDEAD RAGE.

TMG:alex; yes, you do…Sszeyl's on the other side of you

Liatai:You do.

Trofim has received initiative.

Liatai:Go cleric — er, wizard — go! X3

Trofim:Hmm, am rather too far… Beridze, you will have to try again despite your sore throat « 1d20 = 5 »

Liatai:Beridze emits a puff of dust. :B

Faerie:Wait, why do I get flanking? I thought the skeleton was facing me.

TMG:are you supposed to add your cleric level or something?

TMG:alex; facing does not matter in D&D

TMG:just that two people are on opposite sides

Faerie:…oh.

TMG:and that's just what the token looks like anyway. x3

Liatai:Not fot the initial turning check. Turning damage, yes, you add your cleric level.

Faerie:No, I thought since it was attacking me, i was facing. x3

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Faerie:*i was

Faerie:**it was

TMG:alex; ah. Well, no, that doesn't matter

Faerie:»* Sszeyl switches zai to blugeion mode, and assaults!

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 14 + 3 = 17 » Sai pierce!

Sszeyl:Er.

Trofim:Hmm… maybe i should wash him in some sticklewort tea

Liatai:Hit!

Sszeyl:Bludgeon.

Sszeyl:« 1d4+3 = 4 + 3 = 7 »

TMG:crap, I think my browser -really- locked up this time.

VAE:how can you bludgeon with zai?

Worg Skeleton 1:CRACK.

Liatai:VAE - WIth the pommel.

TMG:…isn't that a -4 to attack or something? or is that actually in the weapon description?

Liatai:It's actually one of the primary attack methods you can use with a sai.

TMG:Oh, cool. Carry on then. :3

Liatai:So, no penalty. ^^

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Gnogglebolt:Wishing he had something more clockwork and smashy, Gnogglebolt swings his morningstar. « 1d20+1 = 18 + 1 = 19 »

Liatai:CRUNCH. Roll damage! :D

Gnogglebolt:« 1d6-1 = 3 - 1 = 2 »

Elros has received initiative.

Sszeyl: (( Wouldn't that have been so funny if it had rolled a one. » ))

Liatai:Less of a crunch and more of a *tap* that would be. :P

Liatai:Go ranger go!

TMG is disconnected.

Sszeyl: (( PAUSE. :U ))

  • Liatai presses Start and freezes the action.

TMG has connected.

Sszeyl: (( Yo. ))

Liatai:Okay, now go ranger go! x3

Elros:Elros gives another try. Third time lucky! right: « 1d20+3 = 17 + 3 = 20 » left: « 1d20+2 = 1 + 2 = 3 »

Faerie:Assuming I applied flanking correctly.

Liatai:The first one is a solid hit, but the second one is again stimied by the door. Roll damage!

Elros:Black sword for « 1d8 = 8 » damage.

TMG:plus strength bonus?

Elros:« 8+2 = 8 + 2 = 10 »

Worg Skeleton 1:SMACK. The sword carves a nice gash through the skeleton's right eyesocket!

Worg Skeleton 1:And it is NOT. HAPPY. « 1d20+5 = 16 + 5 = 21 »

Worg Skeleton 1:« 1d6+3 = 4 + 3 = 7 »

Sszeyl: (( Well. ))

Worg Skeleton 1:Its teeth finally find their mark in Elros' right arm, crunching down.

Trofim has received initiative.

Sszeyl: (( There went 7/9s of someone's HP. ))

Elros:"ow."

Faerie:Also

Faerie:"Medic!"

Liatai:Who has those healing potions from the loot?

Trofim:Oh well, try once more, Beridze and if it doesn't work we'll smash it with the flail instead « 1d20 = 8 »

Trofim:Flails it shall be!

Liatai:*pufffff cough wheeze*

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Trofim:Beridze… you sound like you got the mummy rot

TMG:(edit Elro's properties, alex? :o )

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 18 + 3 = 21 » Sai pierce!

Trofim:who have you been meeting with in those caves?

Faerie:I'm trying, it won't let me.

TMG:…won't let you?

TMG:what do you mean?

Liatai:Pierce or bludgeon? Either way, it hits.

Faerie:I'm right-clicking on the token, and nothing comes up.

Trofim:there were a few skeletons around…

TMG:…double-click it.

Sszeyl:Bludgeon. He hasn't switched back yet. :o

Faerie:Yeah, nothing.

TMG:er, double-left-clixck

Liatai:Damage time!

Sszeyl:« 1d4+3 = 4 + 3 = 7 »

Faerie:…

Faerie:OH!

Liatai:Dang, Sszeyl.

TMG:okay…try moving elros

Faerie:I was in measure mode, not select mode. >.>;

Liatai:Did you make a sacrifice to the zai gods recently? XD

Sszeyl: (( They enjoy being used. ))

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Liatai:Faerie - Heh, happens to everybody. x3

Sszeyl: (( Okay, I slapped this thing with 21 points of damage. Not to mention what the others did. » ))

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt tries another swing with his morningstar. « 1d20+1 = 19 + 1 = 20 »

Gnogglebolt:…one moment.

TMG:….aaaagh. Hate. This. Damn. Virus'd. Comp.

TMG:Great. Opening up the PDF locked upmy browser.

TMG:anyway…ah.

TMG:no crit on 19, so

Liatai:Damage time!

Gnogglebolt:« 1d6-1 = 2 - 1 = 1 »

Sszeyl: (( How much more can this thing take? :o ))

TMG:Bleh.

Liatai:Donk.

Elros has received initiative.

Sszeyl:"What was that? Are you trying to scrape off the mildew?"

Elros:Elros hmms. Despite the chunk that's been bitten from his arm and the intense pain, it seems he can still fight. right: « 1d20+3 = 7 + 3 = 10 » and left: « 1d20+2 = 17 + 2 = 19 »

Liatai:The left one hits this time!

Elros:longsword for « 1d8 = 6 » damage

TMG:and str?

Elros:6+2

Worg Skeleton 1:The skeleton is starting to look ragged, but now decides to lunge for the one that has been dealing the most damage to it so far; Sszeyl. « 1d20+5 = 2 + 5 = 7 »

Elros:« 6+2 = 6 + 2 = 8 »

TMG:r5ighot.

TMG:*righto

Worg Skeleton 1:Whiff!

Trofim has received initiative.

Sszeyl:"Okay, now I'm going to knock out your teeth."

TMG is disconnected.

Liatai:Go cleric go!

Trofim:Well, time for plan B… no plan C … what are these "muffins" anyways? *swings flails at the skeleton* « 1d20+3 = 10 + 3 = 13 »

VAE:if flanking applies it should hit

Liatai:It doesn't, so whiff.

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 5 + 3 = 8 » Sai pierce!

Sszeyl:Whiff.

Liatai:Also whiff.

Sszeyl:End turn.

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Sszeyl: (( Goblins ain't helping? :o ))

Liatai:Do they even still have their weapons?

Liatai:And Tech is disconnected… hmm.

Sszeyl: (( Incoming. ))

Sszeyl: (( Tech can't get in. ))

Liatai:He can't?

Sszeyl: (( Check the IRC. :o ))

Liatai:So close to taking this thing down, too…

Liatai:Restarting the server. Everyone ready?

Sszeyl: (( Yep. ))

VAE:yep

  • Faerie waves

TMG:last thing I saw was Sszyel's "time to kick some teeth in"

Liatai:It's your turn now. :3

Gnogglebolt:Get this over with. « 1d20+1 = 2 + 1 = 3 »

Elros has received initiative.

Gnogglebolt:\end turn, carry on

You whisper to TMG: Trofim has received initiative. Sszeyl: "Okay, now I'm going to knock out your teeth." TMG is disconnected.

Liatai:Go, Elros, go!

TMG:…testing

TMG:am I here?

Liatai:Yep!

TMG:oh, whew

Liatai:Faerie?

Faerie:Oh!

Faerie:Sorry, had my speakers muted.

Liatai:It's OK. X3

Liatai:Roll them dice? :3

Elros:Elros attacks! Right: « 1d20+3 = 20 + 3 = 23 » left: « 1d20+2 = 1 + 2 = 3 »

TMG:Woo! Crit threat! :o

Elros:right-hand crit check « 1d20 = 14 »

Liatai:Unfortunately, not confirmed, but it is a hit!

Liatai:Roll damage!

Elros:right-hand damage « 1d8 = 3 »

TMG:and str

TMG:wait

Elros:« 3+2 = 3 + 2 = 5 »

TMG:and the crit check also gets all normal modifiers

Faerie:I'll get it right eventually. >.>

Faerie:« 14+3 = 14 + 3 = 17 » still isn't 19-20.

Worg Skeleton 1:The sword deflects off the skeleton's skull as it whips around and tries for the drow once more. « 1d20+5 = 11 + 5 = 16 »

TMG:hmm.

Worg Skeleton 1:« 1d6+3 = 6 + 3 = 9 »

Worg Skeleton 1:… ow.

Liatai:Drow down! Drow down!

TMG:..where's Sszeyl's quickref props?

Worg Skeleton 1:The skeleton's teeth slash a good portion of the drow's midsection open.

TMG:meany, you forgot to put those in >.>

Trofim has received initiative.

Meany:What the fuck is a quickref prop?

VAE:hmm, did he die properly?

TMG:um.

Liatai:Nope, he's unconscious and bleeding out.

TMG:Like when you mouseover the rest of our tokens?

TMG:Enter in the properties on your token?

Meany:They vanished a few session ago.

Liatai:Fixed.

Meany:Haven't come back.

Meany:Nope.

Trofim:Trofim yet again swings with the flails « 1d20+3 = 2 + 3 = 5 »

TMG:well, put them back in :B

Meany:They're still in.

Trofim:nice dice today

Sszeyl has received initiative.

Meany:They don't show up on mouseover.

TMG:….check the cofig tab.

Gnogglebolt has received initiative.

Liatai:They show up to me.

TMG:does properties say "player character" or "normal"?

Trofim:(that was Beridze talking)

Gnogglebolt:Whack! « 1d20+1 = 9 + 1 = 10 »

Liatai:Whiff.

Elros has received initiative.

Trofim:See? This is how you deal with them!

Liatai:The skeleton is little more than a pile of splintered canine bones.

Trofim:light healing on Sszeyl « 1d8+2 = 7 + 2 = 9 »

Sszeyl:"Thank you for the assistence. Now kindly keep to our minimum five feet rule."

Trofim:Trofim touches the drow with the skull , its eyes glow and the fainted drow springs back to life

Elros:Elros is doing -slightly- better than the skeleton now.

Gnogglebolt:"Ah, good, Sszeyl is okay. How are you holding up, elros?

Sszeyl:« 1d20+5 = 2 + 5 = 7 » Spot check!

Sszeyl: (( Well that failed. :B ))

Sszeyl: (( Also failed. ))

Trofim:Not like Beridze enjoyed touching yer black hide..hmm.. it might be where he got the cough from!

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks around everywhere. "This is very, very bad."

Sszeyl: (( Could I take ten on them? ))

Elros:Well…I'm not dead. That has to count for something.

Sszeyl: (( Checks are for looking for anyone or anything still alive. ))

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt looks at the pup corpses…the -rotting- pup corpses.

Gnogglebolt:"We have to get out of here."

Gnogglebolt:"Whatever happened here, it was days ago at least."

Elros:"Yes. And perhps find some healing potions."

Gnogglebolt:"Ptotions—wait!"

Sszeyl:"Call the goblins. Tell them to gather what they can for the journey."

Liatai:Nothing is alive in this room.

Gnogglebolt:"Gnogglebolt pulls out the three vials from the hoard the divied up. "here, take one."

Liatai:« 1d20+2 = 9 + 2 = 11 »

Sszeyl:« 1d20 = 18 » Search.

Gnogglebolt:"Hang on…what's this?" Gnogglebolt examines the thing in the corner

Liatai:Soiled goblin bedding, by the looks of it.

Gnogglebolt:"Eugh."

Liatai:Nothing but dead worgs in this room.

Faerie:Erm…do I need a potion check?

Sszeyl:"Are you going to tell them of what's passed?"

Liatai:« 1d8+1 = 2 + 1 = 3 »

TMG:hmm…since we don't know the level, only Liatai does

Liatai:You have been healed of 3 HP.

Gnogglebolt:"Of course I am". Gnogglebolt says with a sigh.

Sszeyl:« 1d20 = 19 » Search over here.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt follows Sszeyl to peek for a moment, then shrugs and leaves

Liatai:You find a small ceramic pot behind one of the cots!

TMG:(is sszeyl -literally- digging through sh**?)

  • Sszeyl has a bad feeling, but peeks in.

Liatai:It's stoppered tight, but promisingly heavy.

Liatai:No, he's not, more like old hides and wood. XD

TMG:wait

TMG:those aren't "dumps"? o.o

Sszeyl: (( They're beds. ))

Liatai:Nope, they're bedding.

TMG:Oh.

Sszeyl: (( Results, GM? :o ))

Sszeyl:« 1d20+3 = 2 + 3 = 5 » Strength check!

Sszeyl: (( Can I take ten on that? ^^; ))

Liatai:Ugh! No good. It's stoppered tight.

Gnogglebolt:"Come on, everyone. Unless we somehow think a necromancer is -still here-…"

Liatai:Sure, if you want to take the time to do it.

Liatai:« 1d20+2 = 17 + 2 = 19 »

Liatai:Listen checks, all.

Gnogglebolt:« 1d20+2 = 4 + 2 = 6 »

Sszeyl:« 1d20+5 = 15 + 5 = 20 » Listen check!

Liatai whispers: Sszeyl hears a voice from further inside the cavern; "Stupid, stupid zombies, can't even move a… what was that? Did you… Rrgh, stupid zombies can't even hear!"

Sszeyl:« 1d20+1 = 15 + 1 = 16 » Move silently check!

Liatai:« 1d20+2 = 16 + 2 = 18 »

Creepy Woman whispers: "Now I KNOW I heard something! Zombies! Get over here!"

Sszeyl:"Necromancer!"

Liatai whispers: There is a shuffling of feet from the eastern cavern.

Gnogglebolt:"You cannot be serious…" Gnogglebolt hisses, pulling towards a wall

Sszeyl:"Get those goblins armed! With bones from the skeleton if necessary!"

Liatai:« 1d20+2 = 3 + 2 = 5 »

Creepy Woman whispers: "… I THOUGHT I heard a voice…"

  • Sszeyl makes shushing noises.

Sszeyl:erSszeyl:Gestures. :P

Sszeyl:« 1d20+1 = 20 + 1 = 21 » Move silently check!

Sszeyl:« 1d20+2 = 6 + 2 = 8 » Hide check!

Creepy Woman whispers: "… Feh! Must just be me being stuck here with these stupid zombies! Get back to work, morons!"

  • Sszeyl looks down to see Gnogglebolt not getting the goblins ready and makes irritated gestures in DSL.

Gnogglebolt:"WHere is it coming from?"

Elros:Elros makes gestures offering to try to toss bones over to Gnogglebolt if he needs them.

You whisper to Liatai: For the benefit of any knowledgable Goblins in the audience. "Get the goblins to work you annoying little ferretthing!"

  • Sszeyl points down the east tunnel.

Liatai whispers: None of them are, but the translation is appreciated. X3

Gnogglebolt:"…cover us…"

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt waits for Sszeyl to step out first, then dashes across to the entrance behind him

  • Sszeyl has sling out. Ready to Sszeyl Bird Hunter some zombies.

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt reaches the goblins and quickly snaps off a few things in Goblin

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt thenr uns back,. making sure they're following

Trofim:So, beridze.. we might catch a lie-mage tonight

Elros:Elros stays put right where he is. Can't be heard if he doesn't move.

Sszeyl:« 1d20+5 = 15 + 5 = 20 » Listen check!

Warrior She-Goblin:The goblins find improvised weapons made of sticks and bones…

Gnogglebolt:Gnogglebolt gestures for Elros to follow.

Liatai whispers: You hear scratching and scraping sounds, as well as a muttering woman who sounds like a teenager.

Liatai:Awareness check.

Sszeyl: (( I'm good. ))

VAE:… i rolled a 2

Liatai:Drifting off, eh, Danman? ^^'

Liatai:Which is quite silently, apparently!

Liatai:Shall we call it here?

Sszeyl: (( You make them forget the sounds of things they don't even know. ))

Sszeyl: (( I don't want to tax the lynx too much. :o So I don't object. ))

TMG:Alright…good place to leave off?

Liatai:Yep.
