The stereotypical twins who cannot stand each other. With a twist! They are both members of the Blackskull Necromatic organization, and are quite low on the list of the organization. However, they did warrant enough power to maintain a Nerull temple all under their own power. Personality wise, they are collectively as pleasant as a stomach ulcer. Baxter was an arcanist who preferred skeletons, and Baum was a cleric of Nerull who preferred zombies. Baxter, presumably, was the stronger of the two, as an owlbear skeleton was found on site. Baum was interrogated for information pertaining to his organization, and the both of them were sentenced to hang from the neck until dead for their crimes.
Despite constant arguments and differences of opinion, Baxter and Baum were rarely seen apart. Some said that the only thing they cared about in the world aside from their Arts was the other twin. Even separating them briefly in their Nerullian temple and in the custody of the Aureate Palm was enough to trigger a mental breakdown in each of the twins. Of course, this was not helped by the fact that Baum didn't see Baxter again for several days after Thomas Lazarus took him away, believing that the templar had taken Baxter away to execute him. Believing himself truly alone in the world without his twin, Baum's already fragile sanity shattered, and he began to yearn even more strongly for death in hopes that it would reunite him with Baxter in Nerull's service in the afterlife. This made Miron Steelsprocket's interrogation all the more difficult, understandably.
They were allowed to see each other again a few days before their deaths, and were hanged together. Death, it seems, reunited them after all.
