Trevor Merrimac is the second-newest recruit of the Leaden Mace Society in Castleton (the newest being Thomas Lazarus). Trevor is very polite and eager to learn from his fellow inquisitors, and while he still stumbles a fair bit, he's well on his way to becoming a full-fledged inquisitor with time. He favors using an old bastard sword that he says is a family heirloom in combat.
However, as of late, Trevor seems to have been seeing a "black, oily mist" over various people and locations about town. At first, he feared he was losing his mind or was coming down with some contagion, but the Vigilant Guardians (and later, the Aureate Palm) helped him to realize what it truly was; a paladin's Calling. It seems he had been tapping into the evil-detection abilities inherent to all paladins inadvertently. Time will tell whether he answers his Calling or not, but given how he has already sworn to fight evil as a member of the Leaden Mace, and the fact that the Merrimac clan has several holy knights in it, it seems very likely that he will.
